Hiii all, has anybody done business with Shogun Antiques. On ebay U.S. but out of Japan. some interesting blades , but no attempt to date any of them.

This seller is reselling swords from Yahoo Japan through eBay. He does not own the swords he puts up for sale, but acts more like a middle man. And pockets quite hefty profits in the process.

One advice with ebay - look for pics setup. If seller have same type of items e.g. tsuba and using many different setups It's reseller. Asking for more pictures and getting those also isn't a way to check as yahoo sellers posting mostly well detailed items.

thank you both for your replies. I did try yo buy, but it got v difficult whan I asked abvout paperwork, age etc.  so I backed off.  experience tells I suppose, and I am just begining.
