Friday is a good day for some eye candy - I've been editing some pics of a recent acquisition while trying to whittle away what's left of the work week and figured I'd share them here.

 

Ko-Bizen Mizusashi, 19 x 12.5cm, Momoyama period - late 16th/early 17th C.  

 

A tour de force of both the style and vessel type, this piece radiates the beauty of imperfect forms and natural textures that was prized during the period.  👺🙏🔥
