Type 97 Kaigunto for sale: As is"

 

 I acquired this item from a widow who stated her husband had brought it back from WW2. "As brought back by original owner from the war.  Mumei, undated blade.  Upgraded fittings with sharkskin saya.  Company grade tassel is Army, as is the fuchi.  Whether original or not, is unknown." I dis-assembled it for the photos and I am sure I did not get the spacer back in the correct order. They fit better than pictured. Asking $2400 obo.
