Upcoming auction of interest to firearm collections:  1824 handwritten and illustrated manuscript book on matchlock rifles and their military use.

 

The seller renders the title as: Tanegashima Ryu Kozutsu Menkyo

 

Many illustrations of good-quality artistry (35 pages of the 52 page book). The calligraphy by comparison seems somewhat rough.

 

Condition: Fair - aged, foxing, wear, heavy water stains, tears
