jensen6865 Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Hi all, Had a few minutes with some light left and took some shots to try and get hamon visible in photo. They are bad I know, but from what you can see can you point me a little with what you see? The slowly learning one, Dan PS- kind of excited, bought the new book out for sale on this site. had to tell some one!!! Quote
bone Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I got one too! Also I just love the hamon on your sword. :sigh: I can't remember the terms... but it's the nie line above the nioi? That I really enjoy. Quote
jensen6865 Posted October 3, 2014 Author Report Posted October 3, 2014 Thanks. The polish is well, bad, but it is neat to see so much going on in the steel. Slowly learning about chikei and Nie and things. Pretty awesome! Dan Quote
obiwanknabbe Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 If you want to get really good Hamon pictures, use a diffused light source. Then, with tripod, use longer exposure time. Kurt. K Quote
