Hello, I've had a sword in my possession that was given to me by my parents at the idiotic age of 12 having been told that my grandfather got it in Japan during WWII. I would like to find information on it but, other than the Navy stamp on it, don't know where to start. I would eventually like to have it restored but am unsure as to where to go for that as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have included some links to pictures .
