    Hello, I have been looking for a set of Tengu-themed menuki for my Daisho. Does anyone know where i can find this? Tengu seems to be a difficult motif to find. Additionally, does anyone know any custom menuki makers? Thank you!

    Hello, I live in Japan and recently purchased a Yari, no papers although it does have a signature “Kaneuji”. Please see my attached photo. I plan to take it to NBTHK to have it assessed and possibly issue papers. Something that confuses me is how small it is. The sizes are: full length : 130cm Yari nagasa : 94mm motohaba : 15.7mm I was always under the impression than Japanese spears were rather large, but this one seems very small. Does anyone know if the Japanese actually used short spears like this? It seems odd to me. Thank you for your time
