    Yes, you got both of them right. I bought the Wakizashi today, happened to come across that Juyo Takana. Are they made by the same smiths ?. According to the Juyo one it joint work by 2nd and 3rd generation of Rai Kinmichi. If so I would go on the hunt for another katana like that. I like things involving with Buddhism and that branch of Chrysanthemum .

    I was just wondering if this two can be a Daisho ?. First is the Katana , the Wakizashi file too big I have to separated into 3. Look almost identically.

    Depends on your country regulation. Any dealer should be able to ship to you without a problem. With 1k-2k USD I think u can get some used shinsakuto with that amount of money. It’s a big problem selling chinese made one and claimed it made in traditional methods. So better off else where to ask this question.

    Just buy a proper one …. Doubt his one made in Japan at all. Nihonto signed with School or Smith name. Not a business owner …

    You very wrong here, to be considered Traditional Nihonto it has to be tamahagane. So he selling you china made one. Maybe he just a third party seller, he has his name custom on sword to sell to you.

    Look like you buying a shinsakuto ( freshly made ). Sound very fishy, could be unknown smith, could be very well known smith but he needs money so he selling few for cheap price ?. I strongly suggest you not buying it if this is the case. Many smiths out there would proudly have their name sign.

    That must be a good deal, only one I found with that price is a tanto. But maybe I’m after one freshly made. Sorry for the confusion here, yes lot of them in 3500 budget already made one.

    I don’t think 3500 USD can buy a tamahagane one. At least 7000 USD for decent one. 3500 is for the imitate one which is not tamahagane.

    Some of them are actual dealer as well. So not all bad. I bought 2 from yahoo auction. One with old green paper and other one with current NBTHK paper. The Sukesada with current paper is a big win. My broker even wants to buy the blade off me. So not all bad, maybe go with the one that has paper just to be safe.

    Hi, Well his school is Mino-den style I believe. Kamakura Tachi is what I requested. Which happened to be one of his works. So I like it I grabbed it 😆
