Thanks Guys. Russ, I wonder if the could be a low quality gendaito; the tsuba, cat scratch / meteor shower habaki plus fukure in the hamon / a non-etched hamon maybe indicating it is.

Thanks Geraint. I have a book that reference Takahashi Nobuhide, but not Taiara I obviously want now to compare meis before considering polishing and possible papers.
