I am a craftsman metalsmith and jewelry maker since 1981. I am now retired after being self employed for most of my career of custom bridal jewelry.  I was apprenticed to a master gunsmith and engraver Michael Lea, Columbus Ohio, to learn how to build historically accurate muzzle loading fowlers and rifles time period 1745- 1850.  I am currently teaching beginning jewelry at the Armory art center West Palm Beach, Fl.  part time.  I have an interest in learning to make Japanese sword fittings as I have a background of experience producing Japanese irogane alloys and limited experience fabricating billets of Moku Me Gani.
