We own this sword but only know it has been in the family of my wife as from the end of WW2 in Indonesia. She hails from Holland but her parents as well as her uncle worked in Indonesia and spend time in the camps and at the Burmah Railroad. Her uncle a captain the the KNIL (Royal Dutch Indian Army) received this sword from his counterpart after liberation. But what is it ??????
