  1. I don't know how those guys can afford to sell some of those swords so cheaply. Really sucks you only can add 10 photos.
  2. Hell if I know how to do that lol. I can never get my page to share brother. Also, you folks think that the pricing advice was good?
  3. I listed one on my Etsy. I'm hoping my pricing was correct. Every one that helped me will get a tip for sure. I'm going to just list the sword that I was sending to Mr. Benson. Between my father in law passing and building the house, I have to sell them. I'll be listing that one tonight. I would love and critique. Etsy: MountainManGoodsCo Thank you guys, Frank Oh, I'll be donating to the site also. If one of yall decides that you want either swords, let me know you're from the forums.
  4. If anyone needs better photos for their research before I ask for help listing this, please advise.
  5. Wow! The detail of what you folks know. It's impressive. I am torn on selling this one. I'm building a house and need every penny. I'm keeping the bent one. It saved my Great Uncles life. My other Great Uncle, Frank, he was wounded during his time on Iwo Jima. Died later. I share his name.
  6. Thanks brother! Mr Benson is a funny, outstanding individual.
  7. 2 months sir. I caught covid and I had some complications. Actually I sent them an email yesterday and I haven't heard back yet. Have you tried calling brother? Semper Fi

  9. I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me out with the translations and for hooking me up with Mr Benson. We shared war stories about protecting our family jewels. Incredible guy. The time you folks take out of your lives to help noobs like me is important. I am aware that years of research went into your training. I do plan on selling the Norinaga and perhaps one other. I will seek information for that purpose. Each person that helped me will receive a tip. Without the shared knowledge I would have been in the dark. Once again, thank you! Frank G US Army ret
  10. Checking out the auction site. Japan is as I remember. They love the ladies lol
  11. According to my very immediate research, he was awarded for his work. Something called : 6th Shinsaku Nihonto Denrankai? I probably don't have this right. I have a lot of research planned.
  12. Thank you! That's fascinating. Is that figure on the tsuka significant somehow? What material would you consider it to be? I suppose owning 3 of these now, I am rather hooked. I appreciate the translation very much. Couldn't believe my first sword was 4-700 years old. I'm also curious where the Hammon is.
  13. Is there an oil or powder to preserve? Anything that I can do to make these more visible for you guys?
