Looking to buy this beauty, please help.

I got info about this koshirae that it will be sold on a Sweden auction. Any thoughts on it? I know that the reservation price was not met the last time so now they will try again with a lower reservation price. Is it something to spend 1000€ on? It was valued to 2500€. -

Hi guys, I know that the Torokusho it self is not an authencating document. But according to http://www.jssus.org/nkp/japanese_sword_laws.html. the Torokusho should include, according to my reading at least, if the mei is Shoshin or gimei. This is how they write it on the webpage: ”It should be noted that the Torokusho is not a certificate of authenticity; only the length, Sori, number of Mekugi-ana and the Mei (name inscribed) are stated, whether it's authentic (Shoshin 正真) or false (Gimei 偽銘).” Question: Does this mean that if I have a Torokusho for my blade saying Shoshin, does that mean that the signature, the sword or both is authentic? To put it simple: Do the term shoshin and gimei refer to the mei and the sword in the Torokusho?

You really helped me Ian, I found out that Inoue Shinkai in fact us a known smith and he got the right to put the Kiku mon on his blades around 1672. So it was not a gimei. :-) without your translation of the signature I would not have find out this interesting info. Thx!
