Thank you Steve, for your reply. The sword is not in the best condition, but since I got for about 20 dollars I am happy for it anyway. A funny detail is that the bohi i painted red. The tsuba is very old iron, with fine carvings and small gold fillings.

Hi! I'm new to the forum so please be patient with me! Glad I found it! To my question: A long time ago, 40 years or so, I found a sword in a flee market in Sweden where I live. It is marked on the tang, a suggestion says Kanemoto, but I am not so sure. Please take a look at the picture and see if you can come up with a idea.
