  1. Hi all, I'm sure you know this http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2008/draft/ukdsi_9780110810324_en_1 is the governments official release of the "The Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons)(Amendment) Order 2008". Nothing new here, just the same as the photocopied link given by pcfarrar above. Paragraph 4 gives a defence for organisations holding relevant insurance. O.K. I've been training with weapons insurance for the past ten years or so. This will cover most weapons of wood or metal construction BUT this does not cover "live blades". Can anyone tell me where I can get the relevant club insurance required? Jez
  2. Hi Paul, Thank you for the information. I wonder if you could direct us to an official web site or press release? I tried the Homeoffice web site but couldn't find anything new also tried google but still nothing new. Cheers Jez

    Akasaka Tsuba, again

still looking for further information. "I also came across this Akasaka School design at http://kotto-dori.com/ts0003.html. The author describes it as "...a simple, yet powerful design. You can easily imagine the tattered fans lying amongst the snow after a winter campaign defeat." " Does anyone know of any other, preferably Akasaka School, designs with a similar theme?

    Akasaka Tsuba, again

A picture was offered in the previous thread. I wonder if some one could post it and translate it again for me. It was described as “signed by Bushu no Ju Tadatoki Saku (nandai) in the late Edo Era. From Tsuba no Bi, 2003 Kashima†Jez
  7. Hi all, This appears to be my first post, but I’m sure you’ve seen this before. My original account and posts “couldn't be carried over I'm afraidâ€. I was and still am trying to find information on this tsuba and its theme of broken fans. Could you please repeat what you posted before or add something new. This is the original picture of the Akasaka School tsuba signed Tadanori å¿ å‰‡. Size is 75mm wide x 78mm high. Jez
