Greetings all. My 11 year old son is in the middle of his 6th grade "Passion Project". He has been hard at work on a Tanto build he has most of it done with the exception of wrapping the tsuka. We are looking for same to make it authentic (2) 1x4 inch strips is what he needs. Nothing fancy not looking for large nodes or anything just some scraps if anyone has any we would be grateful. just let me know the price thanks Pete.

Just wondering if I'm on the right track with this (very novice here) JU/CHO MITSU ? anywhere near that? Very limited library so far. Thanks in advance for any help. If someone could recommend any books to get started that won't require a second mortgage that would be great.Hopefully i'm not sounding like an idiot. Pete R.

Sorry I'm new to this. I thought my info would show up in the post. My question is regarding some items that are coming up for auction. I'm trying to find out if the silver backing on this bracelet can be removed as well as the rivets and silver blades on these fruit knives. Any info would be helpful ( cost, craftsmen, time frame). The bracelet would clash with my style and my kids would destroy the knives Thank you Pete R.

Just wondering if anyone has had success in restoring fittings being converted to jewerly? Such as menuki filled with silver or kozuka with riveted blades?
