Hello everyone my name is Andrew and its a pleasure to be apart of this board. I am 22 and been studying Japanese swords since i been 15 but really started getting into at age 19. i don't have a lot of knowledge as of yet and i need to eventually build myself a library of books to reference. but i'm here to absorb myself into the culture and ask questions and maybe learn and obtain items to build my collection. my current focus is the imperial age of Japan from the Meiji period into the end of ww2.  I currently collect Gunto fittings and blades. but right now reserved to parts as they are easier on my current budget. and i'm hoping to expand into older fittings an blades as time and money allows.  this a fun hobby and this is my second account as i wish to have a new start and refresh the slate i started long before.
