Cheers for the response, Ray. The Wado-kai symbol is a dove, and this pin I'm pretty sure is a crane (longer beak, different wings etc) something much closer to the image on the left, which is which apparently is one of the kamon used by the Mōri clan. on the right is my attempt to distort one of the angled views of the pin into an approximation of what it might be flat, using photoshop. I was hoping someone might have some specific info. cheers, Dale

Hi folks, Hoping someone might be able to help me figure out some detail/info about the origin of this pin. apologies for the iffy images attached. it looks like a maru ni tsuru design, a version with three wingtip feathers visible on each side of the head. cheers Dale.
