  1. Curran, this is fantastic, thank you so much! I thought the only group with these interests in town was the Japanese Swordsmanship Society (http://ny-jss.org/) started by the late John Prough Sensei, but the group deals mostly with specific art forms like Budo, Iaido etc. Will definitely make contact with the NY Token Kai. I'd be a bit wary about carrying around the Wak, so I'm looking into a protective travel case.. God knows I can do without drawing any police attention. Thank you Stephen
  2. Hi Stephen, yes that's my name. Just edited my signature to reflect. And yes, she's a keeper! haha Thanks Jean Awesome, thanks Arnold
  3. Greetings folks! Been a lurker for some time, this is my very first post so please bear with me. My girlfriend bought me a gorgeous Koto-era Wakizashi as a gift -- it is absolutely stunning. Comes with NBTKH papers, Hozon by my guess. The information she received from the seller along with the piece is that is Koto-era (later period, around 1570), Mino School (Sue-Seki). Past this, I cannot discern any further info. I've attached some pictures of both the piece and the paperwork, could someone please assist with the translations? Cheers
