Hi Ray thanks for reply I stay in Coatbridge so not to far away. I only have the one sword Koto or Shinto (1550s to 1750s) Wakizashi with 19 3/4" blade I have a full description of the sword but as I said could do with some help to understand what I have. I hope to list the sword on the for sale section. I will try and attach a few photos.

Hi Guys I am a new member and would like to say hi to all, my name is Davy ( Scotland ). I am a small collector of IJA WW2 and I am hoping for a bit of help with a Japanese sword that I have, unfortunately my knowledge about Japanese swords is limited. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
