    One clue might be this shape seen in the hamon. It repeats down the blade several times on both sides.

    I can try to get a better picture of the tang... but that picture alone took me several minutes to get to that point. The kanji is fairly weak.

    Hi gang! I recently came across this Tsuba. Does anyone recognize it? It came off a blade that I believe to be mid to late 1500's. I'd think it's later than that tho.
