Hi I understand that shinsa is used by traders to get more money for a piece. I understand that people submit to get the highest point score. But I would like to know more about my blades should I submit to shinsa or ask this forum. I have done this in the past and got opinions for which I am grateful. Should I submit them as well? They are at the bottom of the pile when it comes to points. Thanks for any advice you can give me. Russell

Philip I feel this is what a tang looks like from that school (1800 1850) (my blade) It looks different to yours.

Brian Very true. Sometimes we also get lucky. July 2004 ebay I bought this for £118 (ebay was good then). The handle had never been removed. I still have the sword. It did cost me £200 to send it away for a polish.
