A beginner here. I purchased this sword from a member at the gun club. It's missing the tsuba and has some staining on the blade. I've tried to translate the markings for about 3 hours and now I have a headache. The first character appears to be Jo and I think I identified Kuni (province). Any help with translation or any other information would be greatly appreciated. I include a link to a slide show if you're interested in additional photos. The tang looks old to me, but I don’t know anything!
