slightly warped blade re-straightened?

I am fairly new to the study of Nihonto and find this message board very informative, I've recently acquired an inexpensive study piece which has been helpful to learn from, my question is a slightly warped blade considered a fatal flaw and can it be re-straightened?

By a trained toshigi it certainly can but it is not quite as easy a process as one would think. As long as it is a bow in the blade rather than a bend that is a kink by the way.
