khorat-2007 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Hi-Guy's It has been a While,but a Heart Attack slowes you down,therefore,i am still a Newbie-who needs to know Things,so this is what I need,a Smith who signs his Work "oite efu minamoto masakuni" and went by the Name of Mizuno Hhideshiro Masakuni,known as the 2nd. hoju successor,originating from Owari,and later became a Swordsmith for theMito domain{han} and is said to have lived in Otamagaike{Tokyo Area}.And the Reason for my Question is --I submitted a Sword by this Smith to last Weeks Shinsa inSydney,in 1970 it was graded by NBTHK "tokubetsu kicho token",at the NTHK Shinsa it was Pink Sliped-Gimei/new Sword!!??,therefore i am confused,i would like to know more about this Smith.By the Way I would like to thank the "THE SHINSA TEAM"for the Help,given to me--they where Fantastic,if any of you come to Melbourne,let me know,Dinner is on me.
