last night my parcel from Czerny´s finally arrived.

 

Packed in a sturdy manner and the tsuba match the descriptions. So I am a happy camper.

Just an update. My tsuba (X2) finally arrived. Very happy with them. Fyi - a copy of the catalog was also provided. Mixed feelings about whether I would order from an Italian auction house again, though, given their export requirements.

Took a little longer than expected at Customs but arrived safely,  Higo School,  Early Edo  and 8.3 cm.

The wine leaf decoration is almost completely intact and the the Iron is a beautiful chocolate color.

Very happy with this one.

Also got another tsuba I will try to post later.  Czerny's also included  auction catalog which was very thoughtful.

First time dealing with Czerny's,  Have to say overall pretty good experience. The auction fee was less than some other

well known auctions.  Communication was great!  Quick to respond to questions and concerns,  even the shipping company they

used was also very responsive.  3 months for delivery felt a little long but given the circumstances they have to deal with I guess it's understandable

and they were upfront about the export permits etc.  I would definitely participate in another one of their auctions.

Could You give measurements of Yours acrylic stand? Is it 54mm height and 35mm width at front?
