John C Posted October 12 Report Posted October 12 (edited) It sells for about 50 bucks in Japan, if you can find it. Please let me know if you have a copy you would be willing to sell. John C. Edited October 12 by John C added pic Quote
Guest When Necessary Posted October 12 Report Posted October 12 It's in a batch of books on Mercari but I don't know how you order that from outside Japan. https://jp.mercari.com/item/m93248872795?utm_source=ios&source_location=share&utm_medium=share And a more expensive copy on Amazon.jp which should be orderable. https://www.amazon.co.jp/趣味の透し鐔・小刀作り-1980年-成木-一彦/dp/B000J89HNY Quote

nulldevice Posted October 13 Report Posted October 13 13 hours ago, When Necessary said: I forgot DT's tariffs. The last 2 books I've received from Japan had no tariffs and both we're after the de minimis exemption expired. I've read somewhere else after asking about books and tariffs, "Informational materials are on Annex II exclusion list from the April 2 executive order about the reciprocal duty. So they’re not subject to reciprocal duty. And books don’t have any standard duty anyway." 1 Quote
John C Posted October 13 Author Report Posted October 13 Thanks, Chandler. I might give them a try. John C. Quote

D: Well...I had checked this out originally, however as you said I wasn't able to "purchase from my location." It sold for about 47 dollars US. It then popped up on ebay for 138 dollars! I made the guy an offer of 115 and bit the bullet. I know I got ripped but it was the only way I was going to get the book. At least there are five of them... John C. Quote
