Ronald Aguirre Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 Hello everyone! I have the chance to buy this sword but unfortunatly I can’t see the tang. Just want your thought based on what you see if it could be authentic or a reproduction. Thanks in advance! Quote
Matsunoki Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 Probably authentic but saya badly damaged, saya fittings missing, tsuka fittings mismatched, Ito damaged and it’s impossible to see anything in the blade. The tsuka is loose so why no image of the nakago? Do you know the seller and can trust him? Looks a bit of a wreck to me but you never know……better images?? Quote
George KN Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 I agree, likely authentic - but it's not in good shape and the pictures don't even show the other side. Easily could be hiding serious flaws like hagire. Quote
