charlesf Posted June 30 Report Posted June 30 Do the mounts have to be original WW2 fittings?I have bought Chinese repro katana saya that are an almost 'universal' fit and serve the purpose of housing blades for which I either don't have mounts or the mounts are unsuitable (metal saya with wooden liner destroyed). Whilst not authentic they can provide a storage solution. Regards, charlesf Quote

I think I don’t necessarily want to throw money specifically at a repro, but it’s not something I’ve looked into. Quote
