Weidas Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 thank you very much, Jacques! even with my untrained eye i see differences between mei... I hate to ask this sensitive question - but does that mean its gimei? or any other options?... PS. i hate those on-line translators. translations are more than confusing Quote
Jacques Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Hi, Although i use an anonymous proxy to see this item ( french laws) i can't enlarge the pictures, so i can't say something about the work and the mei. Quote

Jacques Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Hi, According my books, it seems there were three generations of Tadayuki from Settsu, and only the shosai signed this way, the others signing Settsu no kami Minamoto Tadayuki. Still according my books the signature on your blade doesn't match very well. Quote
