Hello Guys,

So after listing on ebay and no contact non paying bidder,i will try again just to be clear this sword has had a war time repair the fuchi was replaced at some stage during the war i can assume as you can see its brass non stamped but original item, the sword is solid and in great shape, and is a 100% genuine early war Type 95

the blade still is almost razor sharp, its extremely sharp, the blade does not appear to have been sanded or attack the numbers and stamp are crisp on blade, matching numbers 1227 on blade and scabbard, the scabbard has no dents and still retains alot of it original coating, the blade is excellent shape 3 maybe 4 nicks to edge and some minor scuffs and scratchs around cuttting zone as to be expected from a used sword, overall a nice looking piece $3000US + 80US postage worldwide with tracking insurance,i would expect to be paid via paypal for buyer safety as i do on Feebay

Any other info or images needed, please just ask,Thank you

Julian

Julian,

Are you asking us if this is a good price? It's a fine example of the copper-handled gunto. These are definitely selling at this price, these days. I paid $2,400 for mine, but that was over a year ago
