Ballistic Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 I picked this up in a garage sales years ago and I've recently begun researching it. I posted on a different forum to get the signature on the tang translated and I was told it was possibly a Zenshiro Ippo sword. I matched it to an authenticated sword and it seemed to be identical. I was directed to this forum so that I could learn more about it. I would love to identify and learn what this sword actually is. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I can supply more photos if needed, just let me know if you need more information. Thank you! Benjamin Quote
Ballistic Posted January 5, 2015 Author Report Posted January 5, 2015 This is what it was translated to, but it means nothing to me. 江州住人佐々木善四朗源一峯 Goshu junin Sasaki Zenshiro Minamoto no Ippo Any information regarding this sword would be of great help! Benjamin K. Quote
cabowen Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 Have you tried google with Sasaki Ippo and sword? Quote
Ballistic Posted January 6, 2015 Author Report Posted January 6, 2015 Yes and I've found some information and it all says the same thing which I already know. I'm looking to see if anyone can tell if its authentic, any history, or what I should do with it. Thanks Benjamin K Quote
