I have got this Old Tanto with a strange kind of Kurigata. But what exactly is it?

This is 100% a Tsuba because it's thick & heavy for it to be a seppa. - Samurai.

This Tsuba has the shape of the seppa's from the WWII Shin Gunto The Nakago-ana is a bit small. I assume for a Tanto. Signature: Masatsugu But I was wondering if this was something unusual, because I've never seen one like this before. Are there any pictures of Japanese Swords with these Tsuba's?

@Ray Singer Could you explain to me why you think that?

A nice Wakizashi that I own, but I was never sure of the Signature. Maybe someone could help me with this one? If more pictures need to be uploaded, let me know. But a better look on the Signature is not possible because most of it is gone already.

I have got a Fuchi that has been modified by a previous owner. But I still think there's a chance to translate. It's a pretty nice Fuchi! And high quality as far as I can see.

Who can possibly help me translate these 2 names? They're on a WWII Battle flag that was being mounted onto a rifle at the time..
