I am a fan of Japanese history, culture and the natural beauty of the islands. For me all of this is distilled in the Japanese sword. I am a particular fan of the master smiths and have a strong focus on the Sōshū tradition with a love of the Etchū smiths, Gō Yoshihiro and Norishige. I am also a fan boy of the Yamatorige and really any Tenka Goken or Nihon Sansaku master, actually any smith in the Kokuho list. Ok, I love swords, can wax lyrical about this for hours.
