Think I might grab one and hope its good enough repro to fit... Was contemplating buying one of the repro swords complete and just using what I could off it, but think id have less luck with that than actual parts themselves...

Sorry Bruce, my names Tobi i'm from NZ, I'll update my profile shortly. You're probably right re it being complex, not so much for the 3D printing, but for the measures. Although I saw some pretty impressive dimensions you did for the scabbard packer, but mate, don't go out of you're way if its too hard! I've seen the ones on the link posted above, not 100% if they're legit. Listing says they come without serial #s. This doesn't really bother me for my example as its far from mint, but seems $$ for repro parts? Ill post the numbers from mine in the near future, I need to strip it down and clean it up. Really want to display it, but its worse for wear currently. Tried loading more pics but all were apparently over sized. I know these weren't combat swords, but mine has some pretty scary looking 'cuts' in the Tsuba as if it was used. Be interested if you've seen that before. This pic should show that. Any advice on tidying this up? The hole in the Tsuka has enlarged from misuse and someone securing it with an over sized Dowel instead of the proper screw (I've since sourced) is there any way yo repair this over sized hole you know of? Also need the packers in both the Saya & Tsuka, but that's beyond me atm for the purpose of display. Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks man, I did see these, was just unsure about spending $200NZD on what I assume are repros... I say that as they note they are without serials, not that that bothers me, but for the price was just wondering if they were the best solution... But im half tempted to just pull the trigger 😬

Lads, Can anyone provide me with some super detailed dims of the Koiguchi from a Type 95 Shin Gunto? I have a Type 95 in a pretty safe state missing some parts Id like to get tidied up to display (not restored, just cleaned up and complete), but im missing the Koiguchi. Thought for time being I might get 1 3D printed till I track a real one down.. Seen a few posts where a Bruce Pennington has been super helpful with measurements, so if you're reading this Bruce, would be super appreciated. Some photos attached FYI
