Hi. New here. I have 3 Japanese swords brought home by my father after WW2. They have been in my possession since his death in 1987. I am attaching photos of the signature on the tang of one of these. My understanding is that this sword was hand forged in the 19th century and, although only in a plain scabbard, is substantially more valuable than the other two, more aesthetically appealing swords. My children and grandchildren have no interest in these relics and I thought I would look into selling them before they got to the point that they had to. Can anyone tell anything from the signature. It is difficult to read but even more difficult to photograph.
Thanks in advance.
