Hello everyone, I have a sword which was given to me by dad decades ago, he said it was brought back from overseas by my grandfather when he returned during WW2. The only parts of the sword I have are the blade and the scabbard. I do not see any markings on the blade or tang. The blade is 26 inches in total with tang. The tang itself 5.5 inches. It's also 1/4 inch thick. I have done some research but have come up a bit short. I am trying to figure out if it's worth restoring. Thank you in advance.
