Hello All! Glad to come across this community when trying to figure out the age of a sword I inherited from grandfather. He spent time in the pacific during WW2 and brought back some swords, the one I have is in relativity rough shape, and I'm trying to determine the age and if it's possibly hand made.
As you can see below, the sword has no markings on the blade an no markings/stamps on the tang as for as I can tell. The sword is steel (checked with magnet) and I'd like to eventually get it refurbished if it's worth it.
Any help is greatly appreciated !
