Hi, I inherited this from my brother and would like a translation of both the Mei and Tsuba script if possible please. I am trying to learn but am very new and confused easily . Help always appreciated and thanks for any time spent.

Thanks to you all. This is all so interesting, this piece has been in a box since 1947 it came from a widow who said it was brought back by her husband who was on the kokoda trail. I attached more pictures if anyone is interested. Happy to hear any thoughts about it that's for sure.
