    thanks Steve would there be any kind of value on the blade itself or is its value strictly as a world war II collectible? I'm not trying to sell it I love to hunt and collect these swords and i am new to Japanese swords I mostly deal with civil war era blades and such so I just was wondering if you could help me out on this one.     Hello, I recently acquired a WW2 Japanese naval officers sword but the blade is not standard on the fittings with no stamps but with a signature i appreciate any kind of input on the blade thanks, Derek.
