  1. Thanks John. I'll attempt to put some pics up tomorrow. Ed
  2. Hello to everyone. After much searching of the Net, I finally found a site I was comfortable with. I am looking for someone to direct me to a club, person, broker: someone who can help me. I purchased a sword in Tokyo in 1955, took it to the "Tokyo Sword Company" to find out as much about the sword as possible. On their letter head they said it was 720 years old, listed the prefecture and maker. Unfortunately that piece of paper has been lost in all my moves. It is an army Kyu-Gunto style sword. What makes me curious is that there are 4 holes drilled in the tang, that makes me think an old blade may have been modified. It appears to be a SHOBU-ZUKURI blade with an IHORI Mune, a TORAN style Hamon, a FUNGATA Tang and a KIN Tang tip. It needs to be polished since a 12 year old neighbor boy took it out of my home, in New Orleans, and tried to chop down some bushes. Any help, from anyone, will certainly be appreciated. Thanks, Ed Micklewright Hattiesburg, MS, USA
