Thanks for the story.

Would be great if there was evidence somewhere that this was one of the swords.
Unfortunately I cannot judge the blade by myself, but I do know that it is a very nice blade in hands.

For sale this very nice  " kotetsu signed " wakizashi.

I bought this wakizashi as a Gi Mei one. 

Very nice  signed soten Tsuba.

The blade is to my opinion flawless with a good polish.

The previous owner bought this sword in 1962 ( see Bill ) also this sword is published in the book

" The art of the Japanese sword  by B.W.Robinson "  Ex Craig Collection.

Unfortunately the previous owner sanded the surface of the signed side of the nakago and the kozuka blade " he said so you could read the signature better"   the other side of the nakago is untouched.

Again pictures of the blade are very difficult to take.
