Any ideas from what I understand these were faked a lot. Workmanship is OK but supposed to have a pebbled backdrop.

The fellow above said it was a non traditional sword. WWII showato arsenal blade). I would imagine there are quite a few out there. It looks authentic fittings and the rest. Metal scabbard. I would think it's not the same sword but maybe I'm wrong.

I payed a 1000.00 bucks dor the sword. Do you guys think i did ok? This is the 2nd sword of Japanese origin I bought. Mostly collect older american and European swords. Kirk Mollico.
