    Another translation that has eluded me. This is from a nicely made jumonji yari, nagasa around 16cm, ko-itame hada and slightly irregular suguha. The first two characters don't correspond to a province name as best I can tell, and the last 6 look a lot like Fujiwara Kuni Ju Saku Kore which makes the construction of the mei look unusual. Nakago is very narrow being only about 8mm by the time you get down to the Kore character. Any help appreciated.

    Thank you. What is this Komonjo Ebay of which you speak? The blade in question wasn't bought through Ebay, and if it's not Nihonto it's the best fake I've ever seen It is in hadori polish and mounted in shirasaya. I suspect it is most likely a shadow sword.
