I have had this sword handed to me by a friend of the family as they have young children and are not sure they want it in the house any help on the mei much appreciated the white dust on the tang is chalk dust rust still underneath Thank you

Thank you for your help new to all this have measured the blade and it is 67 cm fron the tip to where the tang starts sorry for the mistake

Hi all new to this sort of thing hope you can help! my father in law has had this sword passed down to him and we would like to know if the inscriptions can be translated looked in a book from the library and think the stamp is Seki If I can find out anything about it I can keep it Many thanks some pictures
