...any info you can offer would be helpful, this is a large tsuba, 3" wide and 3 1/8" high, I'd like to know what era, and what 'type' this comes under, thanks in advance.

...I have a small collection of tsuba that I've bought over the years, and any info I might of had on them is gone forever, so help me out here if you can. This is a large tsuba 3 1/4" wide and 3 5/8" high, there is no rust on the surface, there seems to be random hammer marks on the surface.

Thanks to all who helped me with my Tsuba, I guess the old saying still rings true "knowledge is useless if you can't share it".

Richard.. Can you read the mei and tell me what 'type' of tsuba this falls in and what era does it date to ?

I would like any information you can give me on my tsuba, I have owned it 20 years or so, it is 3 in. X 2 5/8 in. and heavy, the metal in the hitsu-ana appears to be gold. Thanks, in advance.
