Ok i expet that. yet the blade is damascus steel & definitely old hence my curiosity.

Iv`e had this sword for a while now and i wish to know more about it. On the tang was enscribed 山本川子 (Yamamoto Kawa-ko) has number nine writen in ink & has the seriel number 690609 or the other way round. I am lead to belive early 20th centery to 1945. Thanks.
