This sword was handed down to me 30 years ago. My father had it since the war. This past weekend was the first time I had seen the tang. I thought it was a mass produced military gunto. After hours searching google I was more confused than when I started then I came across this message board. There seems to be a lot of sincere and knowledge advice here.
