Hi everyone,
I'm really new to the Japanese sword collecting world, but after inheriting this sword, I have become fascinated by the history and lineage. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any input on the maker, year, or history of this sword. From what I've been told the Showa Kanji is old and similar to a 'cursive' writing style. This would explain the difficulty I've had trying to match the Kanji to reference books. Thank you in advance for any help you guys can give. Thanks!
