Sazed

Hello everyone! This is my first post so first off hello I'm Sazed and I'm glad to be here! I'm trying to bid on things through Yahoo Japan and can't get past where it asks for phone number. I'm entering 01 before entering my area code and phone number and it says it is wrong. I live in the US and don't know what to put here. I also want to know if it will transfer my dollars to yen when I win bids? I selected Credit Card when filling out my information. Please help and thank you
